What does the 3-year warranty cover?

For 3 years from your service date, if your headlights or emblems yellow, haze, or the coating peels because of my workmanship, I'll redo them at no charge. It covers headlight restoration, standalone headlight ceramic coating, and emblem restoration for the original customer and vehicle. It doesn't cover physical damage (rock chips, collisions, car-wash brushes), moisture or cracks inside the housing, or products applied after service. What is ceramic coating, and is it really included?

Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds to the lens and forms a durable, transparent layer against UV rays and oxidation — it's what makes a restoration last. Every restoration we do includes it as the final step, and it's already reflected in the price — most pairs run $199–$279, depending on condition. It's part of the service, not an add-on. We also offer it on its own for new or already-clear headlights — a flat $100.

How long will the results last?

Our professional restoration with UV-protective sealant lasts years — not weeks like consumer products. Every job is backed by a 3-year workmanship warranty: if your lights yellow, haze, or the coating peels because of my workmanship within 3 years, I'll redo them at no charge.

Can all headlights be restored?

Most headlights can be fully restored. However, headlights with deep cracks, internal fogging, or damage inside the lens housing may not be restorable. Send us a photo and we'll let you know before you book.

Why not just do it myself?

Retail products use single-stage sanding and spray-on coatings that last a few weeks to a few months. We use professional-grade products and a multi-stage process that removes all layers of oxidation, then apply a professional UV sealant that lasts years. DIY products can also permanently damage headlight lenses if used incorrectly.

Do I need restoration first, or can I just get ceramic coating?

It depends on your lenses. If they're already yellowed or hazy, they need restoration first — ceramic seals in whatever is underneath, so it won't clear damaged plastic. That restoration includes the coating. If your headlights are still clear, coating on its own is the ideal move: $100 now locks in that clarity and can save a $199–$279 restoration, or a $400–$1,000+ replacement, down the road. Same 3-year warranty either way.

Is headlight restoration the same as headlight repair?

Mostly, yes. Most people searching for headlight repair in Oklahoma City have cloudy, yellowed, or hazy lenses — and that's exactly what we fix. We sand away the oxidized layer, polish the lens back to clarity, and seal it with ceramic coating. If your housing is cracked, the lens is broken, or there's an electrical fault, that's a different job and you'd want a mechanic or body shop. Send us a photo and we'll tell you straight which one you're dealing with.

How long does headlight restoration take?

Most jobs are completed in two hours or less — sometimes faster depending on the condition of your headlights. We'll give you a realistic time estimate when you contact us.

Is headlight restoration worth it vs. replacement?

Absolutely. New OEM headlight assemblies cost $400–$1,000+ per side before labor. Our restoration delivers like-new results at a fraction of that cost. Restoration also improves your vehicle's resale value.

What happens if it rains on my appointment day?

We'll reach out and reschedule at no charge. Headlight restoration needs dry conditions to do properly, so we won't rush a job in bad weather just to keep an appointment. There's no fee and no hassle for a weather reschedule — we'll simply find the next time that works for you.

Do you restore fog lights too?

Yes. Fog lights oxidize and yellow the same way headlights do, and they respond well to the same restoration process. Mention them when you request a quote and we'll include them. Tail lights generally don't fade the way headlights and fog lights do, so they rarely need restoration.

What do I need to do to prepare?

Nothing — just make sure your vehicle is accessible when we arrive. We bring all equipment and supplies. A shaded spot gives the best results, so a garage, carport, or shade tree is ideal. If none is available we bring our own portable shade, though natural shade always works best.
